Words of Lace by Angela Fisher

A piano plays an enchanting lullaby
Each key attempting to pronounce
The trance of far off wanderers,
The beat of their hearts it counts.

Appearing delicately in the mind
A secret healing told through tales
Each note exuding a trance,
A sound that moves through a sea of scales.

A white interwoven beauty
An intricate part of the soul’s face
That strings together the song,
The poet’s words made of lace.
