The sun shines, as the moon fades
One of us pines, as the other waits
They all say that I should leave
Go in and out
I should weave
Between traffic, in between guys
Do they speak truth, or spit lies?
They say the world is a world of many fish
Many fish in the sea, serving hearts on every dish
They say there are millions of stars in the sky
Yet I sit here and ask myself why
Why do we yearn, what we cannot obtain
And burn solely for that which brings pain
Why do we try to be what we cannot be
When our true selves long to break free
And here we sit, among the fish and stars
Always feeling like a star in a farce
All I want is a woman for me
As if bound by a cosmic decree
The one who haunts my vision
The one who guards my prison
I can’t quite make out who is she
Before my eyes she starts to flee
I can see her aura, a cloud of white
And when I get close, the darkness bites
